The River Pebble Series is inspired by the quiet geometry of stones shaped by water. Each piece echoes the soft, rounded forms of river pebbles, smoothed over time by current and movement.
The vessels are carefully hand-built with a focus on precision and balance. Their proportions are simple and deliberate, with gentle curves and compact silhouettes that feel natural in the hand, like holding a stone picked from a riverbank.
The color palette draws from earth and water: muted whites, soft green, warm browns, and deep mineral tones layered over dark clay. Glazes settle and break softly across the surface, creating subtle transitions that resemble weathered stone and mineral deposits.
The series is also rooted in a small childhood ritual: stacking pebbles by the river, searching for stones that balance perfectly on top of one another. Each bowl or cup carries that same quiet sense of equilibrium, objects that feel grounded, calm, and shaped by time.
